Produced by Jaguar from 1954 to 1957, the D-Type sports car experienced much success in a brief career. With its iconic tail fin designed for aerodynamic stability on the long Mulsanne Straight, the D-Type was victorious at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1955, 1956 and 1957. The D-Type also earned a victory in the United States at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1955.
